THE HANNAH THEORY.

The Bible for we Christians is the word of God,and each time i read through it, it would not cease to interest and educate me, especially whenever i read it in all truth, honesty and by the guide of the Holy Spirit whom according to the Bible is the author and the one with all the inspirations of the content of the book.
Just recently as i was listening to my Bishop and the President and founder of the Living Faith Church World wide aka Winners chapel Dr David O Oyedepo, i came up with another  revelation of the truth of the scripture again, which i feel will be profitable for you my dear and esteemed readers. What is this truth that i found out from the scripture? it is the story and life of a female character in the person of Hannah, the mother of Samuel the Prophet of God in Israel and the wife of Elka-nah the priest.
The Holy spirit began to lay it in my heart as God's servant taught us the meaning and importance of thanksgiving and praise in taking delivery of our expected answers to prayer. In this write up, i shall x-ray some character  and qualities that the average individual especially the Christian's needs to apply to get get their met by God. Some of these qualities includes:
  • SHE WAS THE FIRST WIFE: (1Sam 1:2) what is this fellow talking about by first wife you may ask. The biblical standard for marriage for the husband to marry on wife. (1Tim3:2, 3:12, Titus1:6). The idea of becoming a second wife is totally unacceptable in the faith. (Matt5:32) the fact that a lady leaves her husband to go for another man makes it adultery and no such person can receive anything from God. So you cannot be marrying another man's wife or another woman's wife and still expect to get anything from God or have your prayers answered? this is one of the hindrances we have to answer of prayers. Hannah was the first wife, therefore the legitimate wife to Elka-nah. Before you marry that single mum/dad, have you asked if the former husband is dead?....else you are committing adultery and your request or desire cannot be granted.
  • SHE KNEW WHERE TO GO: (1Sam1:7). Hannah was the type of woman that knew where exactly to go to have her problem solved. Most of us get it all wrong when we are facing challenges in our lives, we start running from pillar to post looking for solutions where they cannot be found. Mind where you go to to have your problems solved.Remember God is a jealous God and cannot share His Glory with any other (gods or man) (Exd20:5 &34:14). If you are seeking Gods help, then make it total and if it is man's help then make it total also.
  • SHE PRAYED: (1Sam1:10) Hannah was the typical example of the praying fellow. The Bible confirms that she prayed and poured out her heart to God. So many people don't even call on God when they  face challenges. Jeremiah 33:3 enjoins us to call upon God and He will hear us and show us....the way out. So i urge you today to be a praying fellow. Learn to engage God in prayers and communicate those problems to Him.
  • SHE WAS SPECIFIC: (1Sam1:11) she was a woman that knows exactly what her problem was and knew what she wanted from life. She told God in vs 11 that if God could give her a man child... that is specifics. she did not just ask for a child, but for a man child because that was exactly what she need from God, and God been also a God of the specific people heard her and gave her what she ask Him of. In Mark10:51, the blind man knew what exactly he wanted, ....Lord that i may receive my sight. Learn to be specific in asking from God so that when He does it, you will know that He has done it.
  • SHE SPOKE FROM HER HEART: (1Sam1:13). Matter from the heart are the real matters that God attend to. The heart of any man is the seat of all things(power). Proverbs 23:7, the bible says as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is... so God respects whatever comes out from your heat. Be mindful of where your prayer source is coming from. Let it come from deep inside your heart, God pays attention to the heart matters first be for the lip/head matters.
  • SHE NEVER DRANK ALCOHOL:(1Sam1:15) she was a woman that absented herself from alcohol. This one is more peculiar for the women folk, how can you as a lady/man indulge in excessive alcohol as an antidote for challenge? its very wrong and does not speak well of you.instead of drinking yourself to hell to forgot your problem as some of us claim, why not pour it out to God in pryer. alcohol is a mocker according to Proverbs 20:1. So don't mock yourself and think you are managing or forgetting your worries.
  • SHE WAS NO MORE SAD:(1Sam1:18). When the priest Eli spoke to her, she believed the priest and went home happy, she practiced 2Chronicle 20:20. The bible records that she was no longer sad. So learn how to be happy after you have cried from your heart to God, and after the prophet over you have blessed and prayed for you.stop being sad and rejoice.
  • SHE WORSHIPED GOD: (1Sam1:19) Many of us don;t recognize God as the source of our victories in life. we always think our own strength have won us the victory. but that is wrong and a big sin, and it thus kill the harvest. Thanksgiving remains the covenant preserver of our answer to prayer. One of the 10 ten lepers returned with a loud voice and gave thanks to Jesus and thus his body was made perfect of his leprosy. Sing, shout and dance to God in prayer and have your expectations turn for you for a testimony. In Philippians4:6, the Bible says and in thanksgiving, let your request be made known to the father.
  • HER HUSBAND TRUSTED HER SENSE OF JUDGMENT: (1Sam1:23) She was also a woman of integrity, which made her husband to trust her sense of judgement that she was going to do the right thing. how do people trust you at home, office, neighborhood and church...? can people trust you? can God Himself trust you to handle the blessings He is entrusting into your care?. Build up character please it is very vital in answer of prayer and in the fulfillment of your purpose on earth.
  • SHE PAID HER VOW: (1Sam1:21,23-28) One thing is to vow and another thing is to pay the vow we made unto the lord. If you don't pay your vow unto God, you have become a robber and if a thief is caught according to the Bible he shall be made to pay seven times. So be careful to what you vow and be sure to redeem that vow unto the lord for God cannot be mocked.
Dear reader, these are some of what the Holy spirit led into my heart to tell us from the life and story of Hannah from the scripture. She got her request from the lord and was no longer a sad woman because of these simple but life applicable teachings. I don't know why or whom i am writing these for, but for you reading this, i know its for you.
See you at the Top.
